World of Warcraft's popularity were closely connected

"You've to keep your customers happy, but you need to ensure that the core product in the public domain.

Quigley also recalls Niantic's concern about how World of Warcraft's upcoming issues would impact Nintendo along with The World of Warcraft Company. "It's not a positive impression about their business," he said. "That's the reason we had to take some difficult decisions, like blocking third-party websites. It's not easy, but ultimately it's the proper thing to do over the duration of our product."
