Deckard was proud of his roots as Horadrim

Many fans of Diablo series know Cain as the "Elder" of Tristram D2R Items which was the central point of the very first Diablo game. He has been throughout the series, in the same way in some way. In the first Diablo, Cain was an NPC who was on the outskirts of Tristram and helped players throughout their journey. However, he died in the first game in Diablo 3. so seeing the scholarly old man in the upcoming D2R Ladder gameplay is unlikely, but it would be worth reading the story of his life in anticipation of its launch.

Deckard Cain has been described as a Horadric scholar who is proficient in the obscure lore of Sanctuary and its arcane history. He is also believed to be the last Horadrim - an ancient brotherhood of wizards and mages forged by the archangel Tyrael to stand against the three Prime Evils: the Lord Destruction Baal and the Lord of Hatred Mephisto, and the title Diablo, Diablo, the Lord of Terror. In 1202. Deckard was born and raised at Tristram, the Sanctuary village of Tristram to a tanner dad along with his mother Aderes Cain The latter insists that Deckard follow in her family's legacy and take the Cain name, instead of that of his father. As a teenager, he as well as all the children in Tristram would gather around Aderes while she told stories about the great feats done by the Horadrim who she was a descendant of.

Growing up, Deckard was proud of his roots as Horadrim. Horadrim d2r items for sale and often boasted about being the 'last from the Horadrim.' He envisioned completing his legacy as a Horadrim by overcoming evil and protecting people from Caldeum to Khanduras in the in the name of justice. When Deckard lost his father to illness things took on a downward spiral and his trust in his mother's health began to fade.
